About this Maalum Cave visit
Maalum is a natural pool inside a coral-rock cave on the outskirts of Paje. Sunlight comes through the opening onto clear turquoise water, which makes it one of the island's most photographed spots.
It is privately run and works on reserved time slots, so turning up without a booking rarely works. We book your slot and get you there on time.

Children and groups
The pool is deep. Children need to be confident swimmers or stay with an adult at the edge. Group rates are available for six or more travellers.
Booking and cancellation
Send us your date, number of travellers and hotel. We confirm availability and the full price in USD before you pay. Changes and cancellations follow our booking terms. If weather or sea conditions make a trip unsafe, we reschedule or refund it.

Not always. It may close for maintenance in quieter months. We check before confirming your booking.
If Maalum is closed, will you swap it for another cave?
Only with your agreement. We will tell you in advance and offer Kuza Cave or a refund.
How long can I stay?
Visits are by timed session. We confirm the length when we book.
